Job Title: Break Press Operator

Location: North Salt Lake City, UT

Schedule: Monday- Thursday 5am- 3:30pm

Pay: $21-25/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Break Press Operator to join the team in North Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in operating and maintaining break press machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts and components.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate break press machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine machine settings and material requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on break press machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed to meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read cad drawings to produce components using lasers, punches, and press brakes with very tight tolerances.
• Must know how to read blueprints.
• Must know how to operate the following Press Brake
• Machines:
  • Amada RG-50
  • Amada RG-80
  • Amada HG-3103
  • Amada Astro 100
  • Di-acro machines
  • Manual back gauges

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
