2nd Shift CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. As a CNC Machinist, you will set up and operate CNC Machining Centers ranging from 3 to 5 axis to manufacture a variety of parts. You will perform some complicated setups and should be familiar and comfortable with Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers with 3 to 5 axis capabilities.
• Perform complicated setups and ensure precision in manufacturing parts.
• Utilize Fanuc controls efficiently.
• Read blueprints and adhere to specifications, tolerances, and GD&T standards.
• Work with various materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium.
• Conduct your own setups and inspect machined parts using a variety of inspection tools.
• Be flexible and available for overtime work.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC Machining Centers.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding specifications and tolerances.
• Experienced with GD&T standards.
• Familiarity with working on carbon and stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium.
• Ability to perform self setups and inspections using various tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 5-axis machining is a plus.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Change over and setup proficiency.

Work Environment

The work environment is a climate-controlled machine shop located in Texas. The facility is organized and efficient, equipped with 15 machines that run 5-axis and 25 machines that run 4-axis, supporting a high level of productivity.

This is a Permanent position based out of Muenster, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00/yr.
