OSI Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer. This individual will define, design, implement and maintain IT Infrastructure system enhancements (software and hardware) that will improve the performance, security and reliability of our corporate IT Infrastructure. They will also coordinate IT Systems activities with IT Network, Applications, Security, and Telecom Teams, other corporate business area support personnel, to design, implement, and support secure, reliable, performant solutions in support of business initiatives. In addition, they will work with external vendors, suppliers, and other authorized external entities to facilitate secure and reliable collaboration with systems and technologies outside of our corporate environment as needed to support authorized business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Install, secure, and support reliable Windows system operation, Dell servers, Cisco UCS and HP Nimble storage infrastructure.
  • Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
  • Manage M365 applications including Teams Calling. Maintain E-mail protection, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Proof-point, formal patch management, scripting with PowerShell, managing DNS domains, and certificate management.
  • Design and perform system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • Install, secure, and support applications/systems in AWS and Azure environment.
  • Conduct research on software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
  • Assist in managing controls for security standards ITAR, FIPS, CUI, and NIST.

  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field required; Experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • 2+ years experience managing email, storage, and backup infrastructure required.
  • Experience administering Active Directory, GPO, multi-forest, multi-domain, ADFS, SSO desired.
  • Experience managing cloud solutions specializing in AWS and Azure infrastructure including application integration services desired.
