The Licensed Practical Nurse will prepare patients for visits, including assessing smoking status, reconciling medication and allergy lists, and identifying the chief complaint. You will ensure exam rooms are ready by restocking clinical areas, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining medical equipment. Document interventions accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure charts are complete with test results and billing information. Obtain necessary medical records from various sources prior to patient visits. Address patient messages, prescription refills, lab results, referrals, home health agency communications, medication prior authorizations, patient forms, and physician follow-ups. Collect patient satisfaction surveys and conduct follow-ups between visits to assess medical status and medication adherence.
