General Summary

Direct responsible of all the activities related to the materials preservation inside the stockroom, the accuracy of the inventory on system and physically as well assuring that all the transactions related with receiving, warehousing, supplying and shipping are according. He must follow up with the rest of the warehouse personnel all the procedures and the effective of the actions to comply the department objectives. To have the personnel proper trained for their good performance: assistances, key captures and warehouse material handlers. Position reports to the Materials General Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing, conservation and preservation of materials inside the stock room.
  • Ensures that inventories of material within the stock room match physical versus system.
  • Is the responsible to accomplish the procedures related to the area.
  • Is the responsible for the training and performance for the stockroom personnel.
  • This position / function must be responsible for understanding and following the requirements of the Safety, Health and Environment administration system, its Policy, the applicable standards and procedures.

Related education & experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 2 years of experience in Warehouse Management
  • Leadership
  • Effective communication at all levels
  • Initiative
  • Customer service
  • Analysis capacity
  • Ability to handle any kind of situation
  • English 80%
  • Availability to work under pressure
  • Disponible of time and change of shift
  • Knowledge of office programs
  • Root cause analysis

Skills Required

Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management System and IM inventory
  • Use of tickets
  • Correct use of scale
  • Knowledge of TL 9000
  • TL9000 auditor
  • Consult documents in Intranet
  • Material respect
  • SAP basic II
  • Handling of materials and hazardous waste
