What you need to know about the position:
- Recognized as one of the top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals by IBM Watson Health, our interdisciplinary team partners with cardiologists to treat patients with cardiovascular disease.
- The Cardiovascular Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating optimal patient and family experiences from diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and follow-up for patients with specialized cardiovascular disease.
- This position is responsible for managing day-to-day clinical activities in collaboration with a physician champion, advanced practice provider and other interdisciplinary team members to facilitate industry standard and evidence-based clinical care pathways.
- The base hourly rate for this position is $34.69. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The base compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
- This full time position is a salaried/exempt position (not eligible for shift differentials or overtime) and will have general hours of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm ET though flexible hours may be necessary to meet the needs of our business and patients.
- With 16 hours per week, this position is benefit eligible.
What is required for this position:
- Upon hire you must have:
- One of the following is required:
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college in Nursing or equivalent clinical degree, or hospital based school of Radiologic Technology or Associates or Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree AND
- Registration from American Registry of Radiologic Technology or Current Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Registered Nurse License through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Minimum 5 years of cardiovascular clinical experience required.
- Within 30 days of hire:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification required.
- Within 60 days of hire:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Previous experience with evidence-based practice design and/or project management preferred
This position is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear; frequently required to walk and push or pull; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; must frequently lift and/or move more than 100lbs; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
