As a Cost Center Controller, you will act as a vital business partner for the Global Function Management in Operations, fostering financial transparency and providing a solid foundation for informed decision-making. Your role involves delivering timely and accurate analyses of budgets, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, as well as financial reports and operational trends, empowering management to effectively oversee personnel resources and make sound recommendations. You will also be a key focal point for digitalization initiatives and reporting in Power BI, driving efficiency and enhancing data visualization. Collaborating closely with stakeholders in the Operations Global Functions, you will support their controlling needs related to Cost Centers and Headcount Reporting, ensuring they have the insights necessary for strategic decision-making during their monthly management reviews. Your contributions will be essential in bridging the gap between finance and operations, enabling the organization to thrive in a dynamic business environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Handles the planning and controlling of budgets for Global Functions in Operations, ensuring financial alignment with organizational goals.
• Analyzes and evaluates cost structures, while building, maintaining, and enhancing the cost accounting system for improved financial insights.
• Prepares monthly reporting and provides detailed explanations of forecasted and actual figures to Business Controllers (BC OP).
• Strengthens Master Data Governance by handling Cost Centers and GL Account Grouping, facilitating efficient SAP and Power BI implementation.
• Drives cross-departmental process standardization and supports digitalization strategies within Cost Center Controlling to enhance operational efficiency.
• Creates and maintains digital reporting in Power BI, and supports time registration setup to ensure accurate booking of hours to the correct Orders/WBS Elements, while also establishing SLAs for Inter-Company Charges and related documentation.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in finance, with in-depth knowledge of controlling, commercial sales, and project business.
• Proficient in business intelligence software, specifically Power BI, with strong analytical and meticulous skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering collaborative relationships across diverse cultures and organizational levels.
• Strong time management skills, capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines and targets while taking ownership of tasks.
• Creative approach passionate about innovating processes and tools, with a keen interest in contributing to digital transformation initiatives; proficient in English, both written and spoken.
