We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist with a strong background in CNC mills and lathes to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to fabricate tooling and fixturing based on engineering drawings, operate a variety of manual and CNC equipment, and ensure all components meet required specifications and tolerances. This role plays a vital part in supporting fabrication, assembly, and production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate tooling and fixturing using a variety of equipment including CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills, saws, and grinders, based on engineering drawings or CAD models.
  • Design fixturing solutions to support fabrication and assembly needs.
  • Interpret blueprints, CAD designs, and technical drawings to perform precise machining operations.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate both standard and specialized machine tools to perform precision cutting, shaping, and finishing.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using applied mathematics and precision instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers.
  • Inspect machined components to ensure conformance to specifications using Standard Work Instructions.
  • Monitor and maintain material inventories to support efficient workflow.
  • Uphold 5S workplace organization standards and assist others in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations and actively contribute to a culture of safety by identifying and reporting potential hazards.
  • Perform other duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (2-year) in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on machining experience, with a focus on CNC mills and CNC lathes.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools and quality inspection techniques.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team setting.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Compensation

The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is $60,000-$75,000.
