As Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications, we rely on you to
- Works with the DOSM and advertising agency on the rooms and food & beverage tactical advertising campaigns’ creative and media plans.
- Maximizes advertising budget by ensuring that the hotel’s creative message and media activities are consistent with the advertising of sister hotels and the Shangri-La group advertising.
- Ensures that the advertising creative is in synergy with the Shangri-La group, projecting a consistent and quality message.
- Ensures all local creative has approval from VPSM and is reviewed by corporate office in a timely manner before advertising agency proceeds to artwork.
- Reviews the hotel’s market segmentation and other appropriate marketing reports to ensure that the media scheduling matches those segments.
- Coordinates and executes production of all printed materials, with assistance of advertising agencies, following the specifications stipulated in the corporate ID manual.
- Supervises the production and quality of all displays and temporary signage in hotel public areas.
- Maintain a good knowledge on brand standard and adhere to the guideline at all times.
- Maintains active communication with and builds team work amongst communications team and the other marketing departments i.e. Events management, sales, reservations, so as to achieve commitment to the overall objectives of the hotel.
- Interact with department and hotels staff in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two way communication.
- Maintains positive communication and builds close rapport with SLIM PR and Brand Communications, Loyalty Marketing, E-Commerce and PR Agencies.
We are looking for someone who
- Good contacts with local, domestics and international media.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact well with the media.
- Ability to lead the team. Team player with good leadership skill.
- Creative thinking.
- At least 5 years similar capacity or 3 years’ experience as Communications Manager or PR Manager in 5-star international hotel.
- Pleasant appearance & good Oral English
