About the Job:
The Manager of Revenue and Reimbursement will serve as a Medicare/Medicaid subject matter expert for the Organization and will report to the Director of Reimbursement and Financial Planning. The Manager will prepare third party cost reports; will prepare monthly financial close entries related to contractual allowances, charity care, and bad debt; and will perform analysis and modeling of the Organization’s liabilities related to the New Hampshire Medicaid Enhancement Tax. The Manager will also calculate the impact of disproportionate share dollars on the Organization; and will participate in the annual budget development.
What You’ll Do:
- Working with the Director of Reimbursement and Financial Planning, the Manager will research and interpret Medicare/Medicaid regulations and determine impact on entities within the Organization
- The Manager will become familiar with federal and state reimbursement methodologies and will ensure that the Organization maintains compliance
- The Manager will become familiar with State and Federal reimbursement laws and regulations and third-party payor contracts and will ensure accuracy of reimbursement
- Manager will proactively develop policies and procedures to ensure that all legitimate reimbursement is captured
- Manager will coordinate the preparation of Medicare/Medicaid cost reports for the System

Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance, Required
- A minimum of 3-5 years of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement experience, Required
- Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting, Required
- Strong familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations, Required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet defined deadlines, Required
- Ability to evaluate problems and develop viable solutions, Required
