Procurement Operations

Job Description

• Receive, pick-up, transport, sort and store University property and assets.
• Perform pick-ups as needed on any of the University campuses.
• Assist department and customers during walk-in sales and/or auctions with property/asset protection, sales support, loading purchases, and recordkeeping.
• Communicate with departments to schedule pick-ups of University property to be surplused.
• Perform related warehouse duties necessary for the successful operations of the department.
• Independently run standardized diagnostic tests on IT equipment to determine working condition of items for sale.
• Determine fair market value for sale of IT equipment.
• Assist asset management specialist with identifying, tagging, recording, and retiring capital equipment in University inventory system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday - Friday; 7:30am – 4:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of two years of related experience; forklift experience; class E license; able to drive cargo van and/or small box truck; medium physical ability – frequently lifts 50 lbs. with occasional lifting and carrying of objects up to 75 lbs.; experience with basic troubleshooting of IT equipment.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour

Grade: GGS 005
