This role will lead the optimization, maintenance, and enhancement of Learfield’s Workday HCM platform. This role will act as a subject matter expert for Workday Core HCM and related modules, partnering with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver effective system solutions, reporting, and analytics that support business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Workday subject matter expert, supporting Core HCM and additional modules (e.g., Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, Benefits, and Absence).
- Lead and support system configuration, testing, and deployment of enhancements, releases, and new modules.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and translate business needs into Workday solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Workday reports and dashboards (Advanced, Matrix, and Composite Reports).
- Ensure data integrity and system compliance, including regular audits and troubleshooting.
- Manage and support EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), calculated fields, condition rules, and business processes.
- Provide tier 2/3 user support for HR system issues; coordinate with Workday or vendors as needed.
- Participate in and/or lead Workday upgrades, release reviews, and regression testing.
- Document configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and change management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to ensure system alignment and data accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience working with Workday HCM, with hands-on configuration experience.
- Deep understanding of Core HCM and some combination of: Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, Recruiting, or Absence Management.
- Strong reporting skills, including Workday Report Writer, calculated fields, and dashboards.
- Experience with EIBs, business processes, and security roles.
- Familiarity with HR processes and compliance (e.g., data privacy, EEO, audits).
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday certifications in HCM or additional modules.
- Experience with Workday Learning, Payroll, or Time Tracking.
- Prior involvement in Workday implementations or large-scale upgrades.
- Knowledge of change management and end-user training best practices.
