Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking an Echocardiographer-Vascular Technologist to join our team!

The Echocardiographer/Peripheral Vascular Technologist provides quality cardiovascular diagnostic services to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Uses patient information and age of patients to provide care. Whenever applicable, demonstrates understanding of the needs of specific age groups in terms of their physical and motor development, psychosocial development, and intellectual/language development.

HOURS: Supplemental or .2 FTE, 16 hours every pay period – varied shifts

• May be eligible up to an additional $4 an hour (plus additional shift differential)

Qualifications

• Echocardiographer Tech registry (RDCS or RCS) or Vascular Tech registry (RVT or RVS)
• An associate degree or bachelor’s degree in an allied health field desired.
• At minimum, this position requires internship training in echocardiography and/or peripheral vascular ultrasound.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Maintains number of Continuing Education Credits necessary to keep credentials (30 every 3 years).
