Express is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators for several of our clients. This is an urgent need and we encourage qualified candidates to apply ASAP!

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Pay: $20-$25 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, cranes, and boom lifts
• Perform excavation for foundations and grading per site plans and project specifications
• Safely rig and lift materials using cranes and boom lifts
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and ensure proper maintenance
• Follow safety procedures and comply with OSHA and site-specific regulations
• Collaborate with site supervisors and crew to complete tasks on time
• Load and unload materials from transport vehicles as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating heavy machinery, including excavators, dozers, cranes, and boom lifts
• Valid operator certification(s) and applicable licenses
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and load charts
• Strong understanding of safety practices in construction environments
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
• Experience working on commercial projects
• Additional certifications such as OSHA 10/30, Rigging/Signal Person
