The University of South Carolina’s Division of Information Technology is seeking a Senior Tableau Developer to join our dynamic analytics team.
This role will be critical in advancing the University’s analytics platform, Carolina Analytics, which is powered by Tableau Server. As a Senior Tableau Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and IT professionals, to deliver high-quality, data-driven insights that support decision-making at all levels of the University.
This position is on-site in Columbia, SC.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations
Create complex calculations, data blending, and parameters to meet reporting needs
Optimize Tableau workbooks for performance and usability.
Implement security features and role-based access to Tableau content.
