Oracle Cloud Solution Architect will be part of the Enterprise Applications team, working under the direction of the Senior Manager of the enterprise applications. This individual will be a key liaison with the business in the areas of Oracle Cloud ERP modules - Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier and Product Management.

The primary focus of this role will be to architect, design, develop and deliver business solutions through detailed understanding of the current and future needs of the business partners. Based on a wide range of experience and industry research help, provide short term and long-term direction in the areas of Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier on boarding, Product Management and MDM (Customer, Supplier and Product). Work with other team members in other business functional areas within IS applications, such as finance, business analysts, developers, DBAs, and infrastructure, to support the successful deployment of the solution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, support, and optimization of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, collaborating closely with internal teams and stakeholders to enhance business processes and drive efficiencies. This role requires expertise in Oracle Cloud Applications, along with the ability to manage both technical and functional aspects of Oracle Cloud ERP.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, Architect and implement integrated solutions involving Oracle Fusion SCM/SRM modules (Product Data Hub, Data Quality, Procurement, Supplier Portal, Sourcing, Procurement Contracts, Supplier Management) with other Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., Financials, SCM) and third-party systems
  • Proactively monitor system performance and resolve issues to ensure system uptime and reliability
  • Proactively monitor and provide Cloud and Data Governance for Oracle Fusion Cloud
  • Coordinate regular system upgrades, patches, and maintenance tasks to ensure Oracle Fusion is up to date with the latest features and improvements
  • Manage, Maintain and optimize Oracle Fusion Cloud applications to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring they meet the high standards expected in a cloud environment
  • Perform regular health checks, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and resolve system-related issues to maintain optimal functionality
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion SCM and assist with user inquiries and issues

Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Fusion and Cloud SCM applications, including configuration, implementation, and support
  • Experience in Oracle MDM and Data quality management modules
  • Experience in designing and implementing integrations with Oracle Cloud modules using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP web services, and other integration patterns
  • Expertise in Oracle Cloud technologies such as ADF (Application Development Framework), Oracle BI Publisher, and Oracle Reporting Cloud
  • Proficiency in database management, including SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning techniques.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) / presentation skills
  • Oracle Cloud certification or relevant training is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
