We are seeking an experienced operations manager to build and manage our annotation and data analysis operations team. This team plays a critical role in identifying root cause for Customer experience (CX) issues and in improving machine learning models, which drive various Alexa shopping features, leading to improved CX quality metrics and positive business impact. The operations manager must have a passion for data, efficiency, and accuracy. Specifically, the Ops manager will:
.Ensure high quality delivery under aggressive deadlines
.Plan capacity and commit to volume by managing resources, queue, shift management, cross training, and leave management
Key job responsibilities
1. Manage day to day operations with a team of Data Associates, Sr. Associates and Data Specialists
2. Manage work prioritization and delivery based on business needs
3. Ensure high quality delivery under aggressive deadlines
4. Plan capacity and commit to volume by managing resources, queue, shift management, cross training, and leave management
5. Track weekly/monthly metrics and process reviews with internal and external stakeholders across time zones.
6. Maximize productivity and process efficiency through process standardization, strong process documentation, supervision, and analysis and performance feedback on a periodic basis
Initiate and lead process improvement projects, presents solution proposals, and implement them to other applicable/in-scope operational areas
7. Own team’s hiring, performance and development through performance metrics, training, and feedback and coaching on an ongoing basis.
