Senior Administrative Staff Assistant for the Simulation Center

Job Summary:

The Senior Administrative Staff Assistant for the Simulation Center will provide comprehensive administrative, financial, and operational support to the Simulation Department. This position is responsible for budgetary oversight, purchasing approvals, financial tracking, human resource support, and administrative functions necessary for the department's smooth operation. The incumbent will work closely with the Executive Director of Simulation and the Directors' Leadership Team, faculty, and support staff to ensure efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment with institutional goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of administrative experience such as budgetary management, purchasing, receiving, and inventory management; in a higher education or healthcare setting preferred. Proficient with Microsoft suite of software and prior experience with communication tools, databases, or survey-collection instruments. Demonstrated analytical abilities to collect, summarize, and process information for project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Bachelors in business or healthcare administration. Progressively responsible administrative experience. Experience with both independent and team-based work for execution and completion of projects. Experience working in an academic medical department or division. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite, including communication (Teams), content management (Sharepoint) and website content tools.

Work Days:

Weekdays during Simulation center business hours
