Job Title: Environmental Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Test Engineer to manage and conduct environmental chamber testing for various products. The ideal candidate will handle daily management tasks, such as scheduling, quoting, and customer interaction, while ensuring compliance with standard testing methods and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations including lab projections, scheduling, quoting, and training.
  • Conduct specified environmental chamber testing on a range of products for commercial, military, medical, or consumer clients.
  • Perform fungus, shock, and vibration testing in accordance with standard methods.
  • Facilitate customer witnessing and audits as part of the testing process.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with MIL-STD-810 testing.
  • Proficiency in test equipment and environmental chamber testing.
  • Understanding of environmental testing, including shock and vibration testing.
  • Familiarity with HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong project organizational skills.
  • Proficient in technical documentation and development of test plans for customers.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a laboratory environment equipped with advanced testing equipment, including environmental chambers and vibration analysis tools. The position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols while conducting tests in regulated conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $53.00/hr.
