Spherion has partnered with a reputable local manufacturer in North Mankato, and we're actively hiring for CNC Operators. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment. As a CNC Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components that meet exact specifications. Previous experience as a CNC Operator is preferred, but we're also open to candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:00PM
3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00PM-7:00AM (MUST be able to train on 1st Shift)

Responsibilities:
Perform change overs and operate work centers as instructed by the Production Team Leader
Setup and operate drill presses, hones and other hand and power tools
Perform tool offset adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain required quality of parts
Interpret blueprint and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances
Perform inspections and tests to ensure parts meet the quality dictated by associated technical documents
Read and operate inspection equipment to ensure a quality product at all times
Assigned work area, tools and gauges will be clean, and kept neat, safe and orderly at all times
Skills:
Ability to work independently
Familiarity with measuring tool and operator a computer to work with Microsoft Word and Excel
Qualifications:
Stand for extended periods of time
Frequently lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift up to 40 lbs, and correctly lift up to 50 lbs
High School Diploma or GED
Experience running CNC machines
