The Infrastructure Sales Manager – Multiplatform is responsible for leading a high-performing sales team focused on technical solutions, including new and refurbished IT hardware, datacenter components, and platform-specific services. This role combines deep technical acumen with strategic sales leadership to drive customer success and revenue growth.

Here’s what this position is all about:

  • Participate in the development of Infrastructure Sales departmental strategies, tactics, processes, and sales targets
  • Lead and support Infrastructure Sales departmental improvement initiatives by proactivity identifying changes that positively impact revenue results
  • Ensure Infrastructure Sales results and initiatives are communicated effectively within the department and to external stakeholder groups
  • Participate in management of related vendors
  • Partner with management from adjacent teams to do develop and improve strategic, tactical and process alignment and efficiency
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback on mindset, skills, behaviors, necessary for sellers to achieve their personal, professional, and financial goals
  • Participate in and encourage collaboration between sellers and adjacent teams to ensure strong relationships and efficient communication
  • Engage directly in complex, high-value sales opportunities, demonstrating consultative selling skills and the ability to address customer-specific technical challenges
  • Maintain an up to date and continuously evolving understanding of a wide variety of IT Hardware Platforms and related customer strategies and challenges as well as the Service Express catalog of solutions related to those specific challenges
  • Cast organizational vision that connects the Infrastructure Sales function to organization wide strategic objectives

What we are hoping you can bring to the Service Express team:

  • Possess a strong understanding of datacenter architecture, including server, storage, networking, and power systems, as well as how these components integrate across multiple platforms
  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience, preferably technology related field & 3 years sales leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technically proficient sales teams in selling complex infrastructure solutions, including multi-vendor hardware platforms and integration services
  • Proven track record of being inquisitive and championing change as well as initiating ongoing improvements
  • Additional experience leading teams selling solutions or services such as Managed Services and/or Cloud Services
