Aurora’s Product and Development Operations team is making the technology of the future a reality. We are at the fore-front of technology, providing thought partnership to product, operations & engineering and ensuring commercial operations capabilities are delivered on time, safely and efficiently.

We are looking for a Pittsburgh based Program Manager to join our Product Operations Planning team and play a pivotal role overseeing, coordinating and planning critical autonomous vehicle testing activities across our sites, balancing development priorities against resource & asset availability. If you can navigate through complex project landscapes, champion problem-solving, communicate clearly, and juggle various priorities in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you!

In this role, you will

  • Develop testing strategies and plans, balancing development requirements against business resources
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and customer teams to define project scopes, milestones, deliverables and priorities
  • Lead project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient deployment
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their requirements, provide technical expertise, and offer solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospectives and proposing process changes

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a technology-focused role such as Product Management, Product Operations, Business Strategy, Product Commercialization, Technical Program Management, or Sales Strategy and Operations
  • BA/BS degree in related technical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering), or equivalent practical experience in a technical field
  • Experience overseeing testing and product deployments
  • Skilled in creating detailed operational workflows, processes and (or) planning models
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external partners

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in the autonomous vehicle, automotive, trucking, transportations, and (or) logistics industry
  • Experience planning and coordinating development activities
  • Experience working with early technology in a startup environment
  • Prior experience in managing concurrent programs.

The base salary range for this position is $84-$135K per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
