The City of Raleigh Information Technology Department is seeking an Enterprise Applications Manager to lead and evolve the systems that power Human Resources, Finance, and Budget services for over 5,000 employees. You’ll manage a high-performing team, collaborate with City leaders, and play a pivotal role in enterprise platform modernization, including a forthcoming citywide ERP transition.

About You:
A successful candidate for this role is a strategic IT leader skilled at managing enterprise applications, ERP systems, and technical teams. They build strong relationships with executive stakeholders and business units, ensuring projects like ERP modernization succeed. With experience in ITIL practices, vendor management, and project leadership, they deliver reliable, scalable solutions aligned with the City’s technology strategy.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or directly related field, six years of professional experience involving enterprise-wide strategic technology planning and infrastructure management and two years of supervisory experience
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.

Sedentary Work:

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Working Conditions:
