The Opportunity

Are you a highly analytical and collaborative professional with a strong understanding of Salesforce and a passion for optimizing business processes? Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a talented Salesforce Business Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will be a critical link between our business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service) and our technical teams, ensuring our Salesforce platform effectively supports our strategic goals and enhances our customer relationships. You will play a key role in driving efficiency, improving data quality, and maximizing the value of our Salesforce investment.

What You'll Do

As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing our CRM capabilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other business units to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Salesforce enhancements, new features, and integrations.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and configure Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.) using standard functionalities (workflows, process builders, validation rules, custom objects, fields, page layouts, reports, dashboards).
  • Identify opportunities to optimize existing business processes leveraging Salesforce capabilities, driving efficiency and user adoption.
  • Provide ongoing support to Salesforce users, troubleshoot issues, and develop and deliver training materials to ensure effective platform utilization.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity within Salesforce, including data cleansing, migration, and establishing best practices for data entry.
  • Participate in testing new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet business requirements and are deployed smoothly.
  • Create custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, marketing campaigns, customer service metrics, and other key business indicators.
  • Work closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, and other IT team members, as well as cross-functional business stakeholders.
  • Keep up-to-date with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices to recommend and implement continuous improvements.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud; experience with Marketing Cloud or Experience Cloud is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, data model, and security features.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
