We are currently seeking smart and ambitious individuals to join us as Senior Power Platform Developer / Architect. In this role, you will help us build apps, flows, and understand our data more effectively. Data is at the core of our operations and plays a uniquely crucial role in what we do. This exciting opportunity will allow you to be part of a team that has a significant impact on how we deliver projects and communicate with customers. As a Senior Power Platform Developer, you will be instrumental in supporting our digital transformation journey through leveraging your skills in Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps to drive data-driven decision making and process automation. Responsibilities:

  • Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence (BI) purposes.
  • Building Apps and Flows for projects and corporate groups to enhance data collection and processing.
  • Process automation, creating automated flows.
  • Gathering requirements for Dashboard development.
  • Dashboard and report development and administration.
  • Configuration of systems/environments for new projects.
  • Data analysis for reporting on performance, trends, system activity.
  • Identifying and proposing report design changes to improve performance and availability.
  • Providing technical support for existing projects and resolving complex issues.
  • Collaborating with IT department, Business Units, and Project Managers.
  • Managing and engaging internal and external customers on every stage of a project.
  • Interact with relevant stakeholders to understand tool requirements and gather input for decision-making.
  • Supporting or taking on leadership roles to drive and oversee the successful implementation of initiatives and projects
  • Working closely with the development team in an Agile environment to ensure efficient and effective project execution
  • Mentoring and providing technical knowledge and experience for the team.

  • Flexible working hours (start between 7:30 - 10:00 AM) and "short Fridays" (Monday - Thursday 8.5h, Friday 6h).
  • Ability to work in the office or in a hybrid model (2 days per 1 week from Jacobs Office, 3 days from home office).

Here's what you'll need

  • 5+ years of experience in developing solutions within Power BI.
  • Experience in Power Query, data modeling, DAX.
  • Proven development experience using Power Platform, including Canvas Apps and Power Automate.
  • Proven experience in optimizing the performance of Power Apps, Power Automate flows and Power BI reports to ensure efficient and scalable solutions.
  • Experience in MS Fabric.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement security best practices across the Power Platform, including secure authentication, role-based access, DLP policies, and secure handling of secrets and credentials.
  • Integration experience using REST APIs, Azure Functions, and other Azure services
  • Excellent experience in data preparation, visualization, and reporting.
  • Analytical thinking with the aim of translating data into informative visuals as per project requirements.
  • Experience in a similar role that required solutions evaluation, development, and implementation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and consulting skills, with a track record of building strong client and internal relationships.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and good organizational skills.
  • Fluent English.

Nice to have:

  • Microsoft Data Analyst certification (PL-300).
  • Power Platform Fundamentals certification (PL-900).
  • Power Platform App Maker Associate certification (PL-100).
  • Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant (PL-200)
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer (PL-400)
  • Knowledge of c#, python and SQL.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
  • Background in business process analysis and improvement.
  • Experience facilitating technical workshops.
