Reports To: The Inside Sales Manager will report to Vice President, Structures
The Inside Sales Department is the primary ‘face of the company’ to our customers, agents, and other stakeholders. The Inside Sales team is a factory-based team dedicated to supporting our outside team, therefore limited travel is required with no ‘cold calling’ or prospecting. The focus of this position is to improve response time, formalize and improve customer interactions, set/measure/refine department KPIs to drive continuous improvement and tracking of sales metrics for reporting to the management team.
While steel monopole structures are a technical product, this position will be supported by an established leadership team including Finance & Administration, Project Engineering, Product Engineering, Production and Quality that will facilitate learning and development of this position. While it is not expected that the candidate be familiar with monopole structures, it is expected that the right candidate will be able to understand the retain technical concepts especially as related to sales (performance, price, overall value drivers and reasons behind them).
Success of this position will be measured by department KPIs (e.g. time to quote, response time to customer, accuracy of quotations, etc) as well as overall sales rate and growth. The right candidate should be comfortable outwardly communicating with customers including phone calls, Teams/Zoom meetings, e-mail, and any other method of communication required to service the customer and agent.
