The Technical Maintenance position within Kimball Electronics Group is a service and repair provider for production equipment. This equipment includes machines used to manufacture surface mount and through hole printed circuit boards; and associated equipment to test PCBs after manufacture.
Organizationally, the Technical Maintenance is placed within the Manufacturing Engineering branch of engineering, working under the Technical Maintenance Manager. Functionally, the Maintenance Technician maintains the equipment and responds to trouble calls. This groups’ primary focus is to maximize equipment up-time.
A Technical Maintenance working within the Technical Maintenance Group executes a variety of tasks. Tasks include:
A successful Maintenance Technician is a self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, is able to troubleshoot/repair electronic/mechanical issues and provide detail documentation to the repair. Additionally, a strong background in computer technology is a must.
