Playtech ‘s Quickspin unit is looking for a skilled Server Developer to join the Quickspin family.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will...

• Develop and implement backend game server functionality across multiple parallel projects
• Improve and maintain infrastrcuture, frameworks, and internal tools for server-side game development
• Collaborate closely with a small, cross-functional product team including producers, mathematicians and developers
• Optimize server-side algorithms for performance, scalability and reliability
• Work with modern backend stack including Java, Maven, Git, AWS and Docker
• Embrace automation and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment
• Design, test and deploy efficent and maintainable code
• Identify and solve complex technical challenges independently
• Ensure high code quality and strong sense of ownership for delivery features
• Actively contribute to technical discussions and decisions within the team.
• Work in a fun, collaborative environment across teams in Poland, Ukraine and Sweden

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

• 4+ years of working experience in Java;
• Good understanding of OOP;
• Experience with GIT & Maven;
• Experience in optimizing algorithms;
• Math skills: probability and algorithms;
• Mathematical intuition and ability to interpret simulation results;
• Interest in games; knowledge of slot games is a plus;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English

You'll get extra points for...

• Working experience in the iGaming industry;
• Experience developing slot game engines in Java or C/C#;
• Experience in writing unit tests;
• Experience in working with REST Endpoints in Java;
• Knowledge of JPA, EJB;
• Experience with CI/CD;
• Experience with AWS;

Quickspin Platform Operations is the robust team with the main goal of maintaining platform uptime and decrease a revenue loss. In our team we have a shared responsibilities for platform deployments, incident & problem management, services monitoring and customer communication. We are looking for Platform Operations/ Incident & Problem manager for the handling of day-to-day tasks and on-call duties.
