JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior Salesforce Architect acts as a trusted advisor and leader, collaborating with others to design a scalable vision and system architecture to streamline and systemize the companies most critical business processes between Salesforce and other technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Execute on and deliver a strategic set of roadmap priorities that meet strategic targets.
- Design, develop, unit test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform based on SDLC and industry best practices ensuring they align with business needs.
- Oversee solutions both delivery and design for support break/fix issues in a timely manner.
- Own the architecture, design and lead development and implementation of Salesforce solutions, customizations, applications, extensions and integrations that impact multiple platforms and products.
- Be a thought leader to your business customers and your team by guiding analysis, leading technical discussions and providing expert guidance on the Salesforce architecture and implementation.
- Design and estimate scalable, streamlined solutions between Salesforce and other technologies to ensure data quality and standardization across platforms.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to iterative improvement of tools, automation and practices.
- Establish and implement data standards, policies, and guidelines to ensure data integrity and trust within Salesforce applications, educating and advising the development team on technical best practices.
- Continuously expand your technical knowledge and deepen your expertise by staying updated with the latest advancements in salesforce products and technologies
- Help to identify and drive opportunities for adoption.
- Learn to embrace change, explore emerging technologies, and be open to learning new tools and frameworks. You will have opportunities to adapt your approach and solutions to meet evolving business needs and industry trends.
- Travel to various locations, both within our organization and externally, may be required depending on your role and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 15 years of experience as a Salesforce developer.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial services sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work toward strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and work independently in a changing environment.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
- Salesforce certifications including, but not limited to: Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Advanced Developer, and Application Architect, is preferred.
- If you do not already have a Securities license relevant to your role at Innovayte, you may be required to take and pass the Securities Industries Essentials exam provided by FINRA. In addition, based on your role responsibilities, you may also be required to pass additional Securities Industry exams to allow you to operate in your role and be compliant with FINRA and the SEC requirements. These licenses, when required, need to be obtained within certain specific time frames, typically 120 calendar days.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following:
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and proven experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. Extensive experience in Salesforce Sales, Service, Financial Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
- Microsoft Azure, J2EE Technologies, Oracle & SQL Server, MuleSoft, Jitterbit, middleware and other technologies in Windows NT and Unix Environments.
- Minimum certifications of Salesforce.com Certified Administrator (201) and Certified Developer (401)
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
- MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) Level 1
- Microsoft Azure Administrator and Microsoft Azure API Development
- Strong background in Force.com development (Apex, Visualforce, API integration) and web services (REST, SOAP).
- Knowledge in Agentforce, Builder, Dev Tools, Testing Center and LLM Models.
- Experience designing and documenting Microsoft Azure APIs and implementing cloud-based security models.
- Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, SOQL, SOSL, and database management with Oracle & SQL Server.
- Proficient in J2EE, EJB, JMS, .NET (C#), Java, JavaScript, AJAX, XML/XSLT, and UNIX Shell Scripting.
- Hands-on experience with middleware integration, batch job automation, and distributed computing.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud, with some hands-on experience preferred.
- Experience with Tableau and configuring embedded dashboards in Salesforce.
- Familiarity with the AI landscape and concepts, including Salesforce offerings such as Agentforce.
- Proven knowledge and practical application of Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, Web Services, LWC, and SOQL, Mulesoft and Omniscript
- Experience in Agile development methodologies strongly preferred.
- Ability to write clear and effective technical requirements and documentation.

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
