The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals in Greenwood is working with a leading supplier located in Beech Grove to help them hire a Customer Account Representative!

As a Customer Account Representative, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless communication and efficient order processing. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with both internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers through telephone, fax, email, and in-person interactions to provide top-tier service.
• Accurately process and enter customer orders while maintaining data integrity.
• Prepare and provide pricing quotes both verbally and digitally, ensuring competitive and accurate information.
• Expedite customer orders and direct purchase requests based on inquiries, proactively addressing needs.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers and vendors to optimize business opportunities.
• Maintain close communication with the outside sales team and vendor representatives to support customer requirements.
• Organize and manage large datasets in Microsoft Excel, entering pricing, quotes, and relevant information with precision.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support business operations.

Pay/Benefits:

• Pay starts at $18/hr with a potential increase upon hire

• Potential for performance based quarterly/annual bonuses

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

Location: Will share time between the company's office in Beech Grove and customer locations

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Recent office and customer service experience required, demonstrating a strong ability to interact with clients and manage administrative tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to efficiently navigate spreadsheets, documents, and email communication.
• Professional phone demeanor and exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with customers and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess issues and develop effective solutions as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively, managing deadlines and workloads with precision.
• Self-motivated and ambitious, with a proactive approach to independently working on projects and contributing to team success.
• Tooling knowledge or relevant technical skills preferred, supporting efficiency in various operational aspect
