QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ontario Provincial license as an Industrial Millwright (433A) is required.
  • 3-4 years experience as a Millwright required.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
  • Perform electrical repairs and low voltage work as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and safety practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

Experience

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques for fabricating parts or repairing machinery.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to safety protocols and practices within the workplace.

This is a straight afternoon shift Monday- Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm
