QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Ontario Provincial license as an Industrial Millwright (433A) is required.
- 3-4 years experience as a Millwright required.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in an industrial setting.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using logic controllers and other diagnostic tools.
- Perform electrical repairs and low voltage work as required.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in welding techniques for fabricating parts or repairing machinery.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to safety protocols and practices within the workplace.
This is a straight afternoon shift Monday- Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm
