The Role
At Netflix, we launch a high volume of titles regularly to meet the entertainment needs of our growing member base. The scale and quality of our launches are pivotal to our success in bringing amazing stories to the right audience at the right time. The Launch Manager ensures that we launch our local portfolio of titles at the highest quality and in the most efficient way possible to maximize member joy.
The Launch Manager role is unique as its scope requires a deep understanding of the product, cross-functional teams/functions, and a mindset that is equally precise on local execution as it is on strategic judgment calls. The LM’s role is to understand the content and product strategies, and we do this via effective management of our highest stakeholders, leading cross-functional alignment on a portfolio level, and being part of initiatives on innovating and productizing new product experiences. Thorough knowledge of the local and vertical strategies, business nuances, and technical troubleshooting, paired with strong partnership investment with stakeholders, will be critical to our success.
You will be part of a larger Product Discovery and Promotion team that will innovate approaches, develop scalable solutions, work with teams to drive promotional impact on the UI and drive excellence in every single one of our Mexican and Colombian launches so that we can work smarter, increase efficiency and more importantly increase joy for our members on the Netflix platform. This role is based in Mexico City and focused on supporting the Mexican and Colombian content slate.
