Amentum is immediately hiring a qualified Line work center Aircraft Mechanic I in support of U.S. Navy Aviation maintenance / flight operations at NAS Oceana Virginia Beach, VA. VFA-106.
Must be able to work rotating shifts and travel for detachments both ashore and afloat (aircraft carriers.)
Aircraft Mechanic 1 Line work center 310 must maintain currency as a qualified Plane Captain. Must be familiar with the Line work center daily operations and become familiar with company policies and procedures to include Monthly Reports, QA reports and Tally reports. The applicant must be able to comply with the customers (Navy's) daily scheduled/unscheduled flight/maintenance operations. Must be able to prioritize the needs of the customer in a clear and professional manner. Must be able to react quickly and precisely to the ever-changing operational requirements of customer. Will be required to pass and maintain a U.S. Government background security check as well as favorable fingerprints in EQIP. May be required to complete a SF-85/86 in EQIP as required to maintain possession of a CAC identification. Unfavorable background check may result in termination if determination is made you are not eligible for a CAC identification.
