The Support Services Manager collaborates with interdepartmental staff at Shepherd Center to ensure continuity of patient care and services. This role interacts with patients, their families, and caregivers to help create a positive and pleasing environment for patient care and interaction. The Support Services Manger contributes to managing, enhancing, and improving the quality of care at Pathways.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This section provides the primary or core tasks that must be performed. This list defines essential functions for the purposes of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Center and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system. Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. The Support Services Manager provides consistent leadership and support to patients, families, and staff. Accountabilities:
