What Success Looks Like:

  • Follow a schedule for material requirements needed at the mixer.
  • Transfer material from bulk bags or “super sacks” to smaller paper/poly bags.
  • Proper loading of “super sacks” on to weigh station loader.
  • Ensure precise weights of material to be handled at mixer.
  • Proper inventory control of raw materials and finished products.
  • Properly label skids, boxes, and fill out applicable paperwork.
  • Rotate raw material inventory to assure proper FIFO system usage.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Operate forklift/complete daily checklist.
  • Assist with the unloading of carbon black trailers and observe them during the unloading process..
  • General housekeeping/perform daily and weekly 5s duties
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use upper extremities while occasionally sitting, crouching, and bending.
  • Ability to climb stairs, lift to 50 pounds and perform necessary job tasks.

Your Credentials:

  • One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • High School or GED preferred
  • Willing to work overtime including weekends
  • Close visual work required.
  • Knowledge of general computer skills.
  • Attention to detail.

The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour, plus $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.

2nd shift - 2:45pm - 11:00pm
