THE POSITION

We are currently looking for a Commercial Growth Senior Analyst to perform key analyses that will drive strategic initiatives designed to support innovation and customer engagement and retention for our sportsbook product. This is an energizing and high-profile role with the opportunity to make a material impact on the business outcome for FanDuel Group.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Analyze recent betting behaviors of active players to discern core KPIs trends and present learnings and implications to key stakeholders
  • Lead long-term customer retention-related projects (e.g. reactivation potential, promotional effectiveness, etc) to glean actionable insights and further optimize customer marketing playbook
  • Evaluate the commercial value of prospective partnerships with media companies, leagues and teams, and/or sports media companies
  • Partner with experimentation team to conduct testing on customer communications and offers
  • Consistently challenge ways of working to raise standards and improve performance
  • Lead interdepartmental collaboration with various cross-functional teams
  • Facilitate ad-hoc requests as needed

THE STATS

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 3 years of experience in analytics, consulting, banking, or related field with a focus on modeling and other quantitative analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Analytical field (or other relevant discipline) preferred
  • Advanced SQL and Excel skills; Tableau proficiency a plus
  • Knowledge or understanding of the business and culture of sports and gaming preferred
  • Comfortable managing concurrent projects in an ever-evolving, fast-paced landscape
  • Proven growth mindset; Product-led, data-driven, and highly creative
  • Results-oriented, metrics-driven, objective, and continuously seeking improvement of marketing efforts to increase quality and productivity
  • Ability and eagerness to effectively balance the big-picture strategic work with execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interface with a wide range of internal teams and ability to build strong relationships internally
  • Meticulous attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, project management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize

The applicable salary range for this position is $94,000 - $117,500 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
