Position Overview:

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team at our Byron, Georgia facility. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling and processing orders for shipment along with maintaining inventory.

Duties/Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • This role is responsible for inspection, packaging, labeling, and preparing documentation for verification on shipments, receive materials, and assist with maintaining inventory.
• Verify products are in assigned bin location
• Prepare, package, and document outgoing materials.
• Pulls correct quantity from storage location and verifies that pulled order are accurate.
• Monitors and reports any inventory shortage issues to supervision.
• Receive, inspect inventory, document, and store materials.
• Works at different workstations as shipping needs require; maintains shipping inventory of supplies.
• Performs shipping duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations, and sorting.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
• Operates forklift, along with other shipping devices, in a safe, efficient manner.
• Performs related duties as required by supervision.
