Why is this role important at Infobip?

Being a part of Infobip Engineering Powerhouse means working on an in-house developed product and delivering solutions on a global level. As an Engineering Manager, you will influence and be directly responsible for the development of your Requirement Area. This means that you will cooperate closely with different stakeholders throught the whole company in defining the roadmap of products, organize the teams and team members to successfully deliver the requirements.

What will you do at Infobip?

• You will develop a deep understanding of the product, business domain, and environment—including key dependencies and related product areas such as SaaS, CPaaS, IBOS, and developer tools.
• You will deeply understand customer needs, struggles, and use cases, using that insight to co-create meaningful solutions that balance business impact and technical feasibility.
• You will stay on top of technology trends and apply them to drive business outcomes and technical excellence.
• You will promote a culture focused on quality, reliability, security, and efficiency—continuously raising the bar through ongoing improvement and high engineering standards.
• You will build trust-based, long-term relationships and foster an environment where people can grow and perform at their best.
• You will provide timely, constructive feedback, encourage open dialogue, and adapt your leadership style to fit team needs.
• You will lead by example - challenging directly, receiving feedback openly, and inspiring others through action, not authority.

Qualifications / More about you:

• You are capable to recognize and align business and technical needs.
• You are able to understand business context, clients needs and organize teams to provide best solutions.
• You can establish productive cooperation with cross-functional teams or departments.
• You have experience in leading and developing technical initiatives on large-scale products.
• You have experience in leading larger organizational setups, multiple teams or similar.
• You have a successful track record of leading teams.
• You can communicate well, on the right level of abstraction depending on the audience.
• You have strong technical/engineering background.
• You have a strong understanding and experience in agile methodologies.
• You are fluent in the English language.

Nice to have:

• Additional knowledge of agile practices.
• Experience in Java/Spring/Sql technology stack.
• Experience in working in an international environment.
