Job Title: Geotechnical Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager with geotechnical experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in earth retention, earth shoring, and equipment exposure. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage geotechnical projects, including earth retention and earth shoring initiatives.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to project timelines and financial constraints.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site assessments and provide technical expertise in geotechnical engineering.
• Manage equipment and resources required for geotechnical projects.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during project execution.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Essential Skills

• 5-8 years of Construction Project Management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Construction Management.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices.
• Experience in equipment management for geotechnical projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, civil construction, heavy civil, dirtwork, and concrete expertise.
• Experience in design, project management, and trenching.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both office settings and onsite visits as needed. You will be part of a smaller company, working within a team of six, and will have the opportunity to report directly to the owner, allowing for a high degree of autonomy.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $67.00/hr.
