The Global Process Owner Operations Controlling is a strategic finance leader responsible for the design, governance, and continuous improvement of global end-to-end Operational finance processes with a focus on cost of goods sold (COGS) planning, forecasting, and performance reporting. The GPO COO will play a central role in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA under the global finance transformation program, ensuring standardized, scalable, and efficient processes across all regions (EMEA, Americas, APAC).

A job that matters: Your Tasks

  • Global Process Ownership: Own and govern the end-to-end process design for the Operational finance area.
  • Process Standardization & Harmonization: Define global standards and procedures to drive alignment across regions.
  • SAP S/4HANA Enablement: Translate business process requirements into system functionalities and support configuration decisions.
  • SME Governance: Provide leadership and direction to regional SMEs, ensuring process consistency and implementation accuracy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Leverage best practices and innovation to drive automation, simplification, and operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a central contact for Finance, IT, and Business during design, implementation, and post-go-live.
  • Change & Training Support: Validate training materials, change impacts, and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • KPI & Performance Management: Collaborate with operational dormakaba Business Services Towers to improve global KPIs.

An experience that matters: Your Skills

  • 8+ years of finance (COGS planning, forecasting, and performance reporting) experience, with strong exposure to shared services or global transformation.
  • BSc or MSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience in complex stakeholder management in SSC/GBS.
  • Proven experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC; SAP S4 HANA) and financial reporting tools.
  • Proven experience in process ownership or transformation projects (preferably SAP S/4HANA).
  • Strong knowledge of global finance operations and regulatory landscapes.
  • Project leadership and change management skills in multicultural environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical capabilities
