Position Purpose:

To provide expert technical support in both the workshop and on-site environments, leading mechanical fitting, assembly, installation, maintenance and machining tasks while ensuring high-quality standards, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform function testing, disassembly, inspection, and assessment of valves and related mechanical equipment in both workshop and field environments to determine overhaul scope.
  • Document detailed and accurate information in job reports to support effective engineering assessments and quotations.
  • Reassemble and refit a wide range of mechanical equipment in accordance with OEM specifications and standards.
  • Conduct hydrostatic and gas testing on various valve types and mechanical equipment (including components and assemblies) as per standard procedures and safety requirements.
  • Ensure all work is completed, inspected, and signed off before proceeding to the next stage of the process.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while delegating tasks when required, under the direction of management and the Workshop Coordinator.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on production efficiency, turnaround time, and waste reduction.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in line with company HSE standards.
