A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medine, Tulane University School of Medicine to study the molecular mechanisms and pathogenesis of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma and/or cholangiocarcinoma). The research projects are focused on the effects and mechanisms of several signaling molecules/cascades including epigenetics, epitranscriptomics, non-coding RNAs, RNA splicing factors, and several other key signaling pathways in the regulation of liver cancer cell growth. The studies involve complementary cellular/molecular analyses and mouse models of hepatobiliary carcinogenesis.
Successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in a scientific field.
