ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer IV to join our team at our Fort Eisenhower, GA location.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Focus on the meticulous development and maintenance of DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation, ensuring unwavering compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Apply comprehensive systems engineering principles across all phases of the system lifecycle, driving optimal efficiency and effectiveness from initial concept to final retirement.
  • Serve as a pivotal liaison with the Government on complex technical systems engineering considerations, proactively addressing and resolving issues to maintain project momentum.
  • Contribute significantly to the creation of critical systems engineering documentation, including detailed System Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, and intricate interface control documents.
  • Provide expert supervision and mentorship to subordinate project and Team ManTech staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment that promotes professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
  • 7 years of demonstrable experience in a systems engineering role, showcasing a strong track record of success.
  • DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level III certification, ensuring compliance with essential security standards.
  • Proven experience with DoD 5000.02 documentation requirements, demonstrating a deep understanding of relevant regulations.
  • Practical experience with use case development and requirements derivation, essential for successful system design and implementation.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive technical project artifacts and documentation, highlighting attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development processes and software engineering methodologies, enabling effective collaboration and project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, indicating specialized education and expertise.
  • Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP), and DAWIA Systems Engineering Level III certifications, showcasing advanced knowledge and skills.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Required TS/SCI Eligible.

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
