BUYER I
EDUCATION
BS Degree in Business or related field (preferred) OR relevant industry experience.
EXPERIENCE
Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge in industrial purchasing/contracting environment. Basic knowledge of purchasing and contracting departmental functions. Understanding of contractor/vendor qualification processes. Familiar with legal/contractual terminology.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
1.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
2.Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
3.Must be detail oriented.
4.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5.Knowledge of AS400 is a plus.
