Your opportunity:

As an Accurex Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying and leading the development of new business opportunities that align with the organizational growth strategy and profitability goals. You will also build relationships with new customers, maintain relationships with existing customers, and ensure proper support is in place to advance these opportunities through the sales process.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify, research, and develop a robust pipeline of new business opportunities to continuously grow sales within the targeted market segments through market and trend analysis.
  • Responsible for the development of strategy and processes for engaging with key stakeholders.
  • Research, prospect, and qualify potential accounts; analyze and interpret customer needs to develop a compelling value proposition and program.
  • Develop and deliver powerful sales presentations that effectively demonstrate business solutions to potential customers and decision-makers.
  • Maintain a high level of customer engagement and follow-up through ongoing communication and customer visits.
  • Develop long-term relationships with internal and external customers to maintain market position as easiest company to do business with.
  • Collaborate with business units and/or sales teams on negotiations, product improvements, new product ideas, and contracts to find mutually beneficial solutions and sales/business growth opportunities in line with profit and capacity targets.
  • Establish an understanding of competitor product and price strategies to best position and support promotion of new and existing products for target segment(s).
  • Support efforts to elicit customer feedback to define product development requirements for new and redesigned products.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and professional association meetings to promote our products and brand.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and budgets for the assigned area of responsibility.
  • May serve on committees and/or advisory boards.
  • May work closely with marketing to create appropriate messaging and product presence for training and industry product / trade shows.
  • May aid in the development of product marketing materials as needed.
  • May have a team of direct reports.

What you should have:

  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience required, including at least 3 years of proven track record within the commercial kitchen and/or food service industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) required.
  • 4 Year / bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent years of job experience required.
  • Previous experience with CRM software preferred (i.e., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • HVAC experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience preparing and presenting quarterly sales goals and forecasts is strongly preferred.
  • Previous people management or other team leadership experience is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Greenheck Group takes pride in providing competitive total compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package as part of our total rewards program. The compensation for this role includes base salary along with the opportunity to earn additional variable compensation based on achieving specific performance metrics. The starting base pay range for this position is $155,683-$210,629 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
