We're hiring a Mechanic for Meadows at Middlesex Golf Course!

Ideal candidates are analytical problem solvers and self-starters. They have extensive knowledge of small engine repair, including but not limited to equipment safety, inspection experience, and preventative maintenance. Additionally, this position will utilize technical hands-on skills such as setting heights, sharpening blades, welding materials, making cuts, and more.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years of progressing mechanics experience – preferably some golf course-specific experience
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be organized, motivated and efficient with a high attention to detail
• Knowledge of gasoline, diesel and 2 cycle motors
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of grinding equipment and proper reel and bed knife grinding techniques.
• Must keep thorough records of preventative maintenance and inventories

Shop Amenities:

• Newer Foley Grinders
• Full size golf lift and Table Lifts
• Newer equipment fleet, majority of equipment is 5 years old or newer
• Qualified candidate will provide their own mechanics tools

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
