To safeguard the district's investment in materials with efficient and effective warehousing Practices. Assist in receiving, storing, issuing, and delivering equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining inventory control. To satisfy those district needs in a prompt and efficient manner that can be met by the distribution of items stored within the warehouse.
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Valid TX driver's licensejob
Driving record that meets the requirements of the district's insurance carrier

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Tools/Equipment Used: Preferred: Forklift, Pallet Jack (manual and electric), dolly, hand truck/cart
Required: 27,000 GVW bobtail, 1-ton cab truck, 1-3/6-ton van, CPU, Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals.
Posture/Motion: Frequent standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting. Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of a mouse; frequent walking, climbing ladders and scaffolding; grasping/squeezing, wrist flexion/extension, and overhead reaching; frequent driving .
Lifting: Heavy lifting and carrying (45 pounds and over) on a daily basis.
Environment: Work outside and inside, on slippery or uneven walking surfaces; frequent exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust, toxic chemicals and materials, noise, and vibration; work around moving objects or vehicles; may work alone; occasional prolonged or irregular hours.
Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress; Ability to read; Ability to communicate effectively; Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
