Job Title:

Senior Account Manager - PU Slab/RMS

Summary:

This position is in charging of commercial responsibilities of PU Slab/RMS business mainly in China (including Taiwan) covering the existing accounts, distribution and developing new opportunities. The position is expected to deliver consistent business growth in China, help to grow China PU Slab/RMS transplants regionally and transfer the experiences/practices to other regions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work towards agreed yearly sales plan in order to meet or exceed set sales target preparing forecasts (revenue) on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Be the primary point of contact and communicate with customers to understand their needs and explain product value.
  • Lead the channel management initiatives of PU Slab
  • Take the lead of driving the automotive business growth in China aligned with business strategy
  • Building relationships with customer based on trust and respect.
  • Collaborating with internal departments (such as Customer Services, Finance, Product Stewardship, and Supply Chain...) to facilitate customer need fulfillment.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior.
  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Translating global and regional growth strategies into constructing short and longer term commercial plan, and execution.
  • Managing company’s various ERP system on demand forecast, new customer and project entry and tracking, pricing and other data relating to routine commercial operation.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
  • Identifying industry trends.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • 10 years’ industry experience technical selling, account management, or product development with customer interaction (preferred working experience in Polyurethane or automotive industry.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Material / Polymer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • A successful track record of developing new opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead through influence
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Chinese & English
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally
  • Experience in using multiple ERP systems.
