The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

About the Team:

To coordinate and supervise warehouse activities such as inbound, sorting and outbound on a daily basis. Receiving parcels in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, and assuring quality of parcels.

Job Description:

1. Monitor functional team members including the Shift In-Charge

  • Creation of schedule and monitoring of tasks and duties Performance evaluation including appraisals, coaching and development Monitor the daily attendance

2. Management of Functional process

  • Support and encourage the team members to put in their best
  • Expected to possess in-depth knowledge of all inbound, sortpack and outbound procedures and know how to use tools and other equipment
  • Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy
  • Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, sorting and dispatch of parcels
  • Orderly stacking of product
  • Ensure parcels are processed accurately, timely and free of damage
  • Understands that quality is never to be compromised
  • Ensure that all team members wear protective gear during execution and monitor all team mates to ensure adherence to instructions
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) will be applied

3. Reporting

  • Provide reports to SOC Operations Lead and/or SOC Lead when requested Produce internal performance reporting in order that throughput, quality and trends can be monitored and assessed
  • Updates tracker and creates reports on a regular basis

4. Health and Safety

  • Ensure compliance to all Health and Safety legislation / guidelines for self and staff at all times
  • Carry out internal health and safety audits as and when requested Ensure Good Housekeeping (GHK)standards are maintained at all times Carry out investigations into any accidents or near-miss incidents

5. Communication

  • Conduct regular meetings on operational targets and achievements
  • Escalate issues to senior management within an appropriate time frame

6. Projects / Continuous Improvement Initiatives

  • Evaluate the process and come-up for improvement
  • Giving ideas that could help the operations be more efficient
  • Devise strategies that would help to reduce sort packing costs without compromising the standard of end result

7. Any other duties as and when identified. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Requirements:

  • Strong performance management, communication and time management skills
  • Equivalent experience of a warehouse supervisor from 3 years and above, same industry experience is a plus. Experience in warehouse automation is a plus.
  • Comfortable delivering and receiving frequent, direct, written and oral feedback
  • Critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset
  • Fluency in Google Sheets & Slides are a MUST
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Willing to be assigned in Cabuyao, Laguna
