Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Enterprise Data Modeler
Responsibilities
- Work with team on client engagements that could either be delivered from the offices or at the client locations
- Working with the Business Units to identify the data requirements
- Strong Data Modeling experience and knowledge (Relational & Dimensional)
- Implement the identified requirement in the conceptual, logical, and physical/schema models
- Create mapping documents showing data movement, in partnership with the sourcing system or consuming system developers
- Support technical leaders and architects in developing solution designs and proofs of concept
- Demonstrate a demeanor of “just do it” and appetite for learning
Qualifications/Minimum qualifications
- Masters or Undergraduate in the either of the following disciplines: Computer Science/Data Analytics/Information Systems/Business Analytics/Supply Chain Analytics
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills and ability to balance team and client discussions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Enterprise Data Modeling (Third Normal Form/3NF) including the managing of standardized Metadata conventions
- Experience with Enterprise Data Modeling, Logical Data Modeling, or Conceptual Data Modeling
- Strong experience with designing XML Schemas (XSDs)
- Strong experience with XML modeling tools like XMLSpy
- Experience with logical modeling tools (e.g. Erwin)
- Experience working with Insurance(preferably) business areas to translate their business data needs and data gaps
- Experience with cloud data technologies such Snowflake, GCP, DBT, Fivetran
- Preferably exp. with Consumer Packaged goods
